Foxl Agent starts on your computer. The models and connected services you choose determine what leaves it.
With your chosen model
Cloud models process the content you send to them. On Desktop, you can also connect a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. Your provider’s policies apply to its service.
Across your devices
Remote access is optional. TLS protects data in transit. After a successful device handshake, end-to-end encryption (E2E) also covers regular API traffic and terminal sessions. Live chat, streaming Notes AI replies, file previews, and notification previews remain readable by the relay. Cloud accounts, Notes services, and Code have their own server processing.
Stay in the loop.
Review the agent’s work, inspect its memory, and choose the permissions appropriate for your task. Approval behavior depends on your settings and the tool being used.
